Phase 1 – Understanding
Our partnership begins by meeting with all the personnel who will be involved in the partnership. From the most junior clerk to the highest ranking executive – we want to meet them! We will learn from these individuals about your company’s culture. We will understand what is the current climate, what they would like to see change and where do they envision your business needs to go. During this time we will also be forging relationships as they will also learn about us, our history, credentials and what our role will be in this partnership. Change is a difficult endeavour and you must have everyone’s commitment.
Phase 2 – Discovery
In the Discovery Phase, we will interview, read, analyze, review and measure – everything! We will examine your business to accomplish two main goals. First, is to fully understand your current business system and how it operates. Second, and most important, is to unearth the opportunities for improvement that exist.
Phase 3 – Decision to Act
After unearthing the opportunities that exist, a detailed plan of action is collectively created. At this point, all stakeholders must “buy-in” to the plan and commit all of the necessary resources required for success. This plan is the essential road map that will guide us to success.
During this phase, a budget, timeline and measurable objectives are also produced.
Phase 4 – Implementation
Phase 4 is where the written plan is put into action. It is where innovative ideas are born and brought to life. This is an exciting phase as we begin to address the opportunities for improvement. The focus is on creative solutions to the problems that were uncovered and quantified during the Discovery Phase. We begin to find the “answers”.
During implementation, your business will not be left alone with a set of instructions. Resource Management Solutions Group will be there to guide and facilitate the entire change process.
Phase 5 – Continuous Improvement
The fifth and last phase is the most critical in a consulting partnership. In Phase 5, we ensure that the changes and improvements are lasting. How is this done? Well, the process began as early as Phase 1 where we had everyone’s input and buy-in. Thereafter, ideas and solutions came from your own people and as such, ownership was fostered.
To further ensure lasting change, performance will be continuously measured and reviewed.
We will remain on-site till we are confident that your business has truly evolved.
